Our Story

We are Athena, Harvey, Aífe, Lyra and Oslo (our Trailhound!), a little family based in the Cumbrian Fells in the U.K. who love hiking, camping and all things outdoor adventure. Before our daughters came along, Harvey and I enjoyed many adventures together; from rock-climbing in Spain, to camping in the snow on a Norwegian plateau, to climbing the third highest mountain in Italy. Our first daughter Aífe arrived in October 2021 and we knew that, far from giving all of that up, we wanted to include her in our adventures and make new memories together as a family. We welcomed our second daughter three years later and now we’re navigating adventure as a four. Oh and (almost) everywhere we go, our rescue Trailhound Oslo comes along too!

Now Aífe is three years old and she has been hiking with us in Scottish winter, wild camped in the Lake District, spent the night in an Alpine mountain refuge, and climbed a 3000m peak in Italy (on her daddy’s back!). We can’t wait to do it all over again, and more, with Lyra as well! We love sharing our adventures with our daughter on Instagram and YouTube and want to inspire other parents to get outdoors with their kids; whether the adventures be big or small.
