Our Family Van Life Favourites
We absolutely love travelling in our van and, after 8 years of van life adventures (4 of those with kids in tow), we've learnt exactly what we do (and don't!) need to bring with us. Over the years we've found a mix of true essentials that make van life possible, alongside a few luxury items that simply make our trips more comfortable and enjoyable.
Of course, every setup is different. We travel in a Fiat Ducato LWB, which gives us plenty of storage space, so what works for us might not work for those with smaller vans. Think of this list as inspiration rather than a must-have checklist – pick and choose the items that suit your van, your family and the way you like to travel.
